Fremantle Steel Group is committed to operating ethically and responsibly. Although we are not required to report under the Modern Slavery Act 2018 (Cth), we recognise the importance of supporting fair labour practices and transparency within our industry. This voluntary statement outlines the steps we take to identify and reduce modern slavery risks in our operations and supply chain.

1. Identifying the Reporting Entity

Fremantle Steel Group is a Western Australian steel manufacturing and fabrication business. Our principal place of business is Jandakot, WA. We provide services including steel processing, welding, fabrication, machining, and freight. Our workforce is directly employed under Australian workplace laws and standards. This statement is made voluntarily. Fremantle Steel Group does not meet the definition of a reporting entity under Sections 5 and/or 6 of the Modern Slavery Act 2018.

2. Structure, Operations and Supply Chain

Fremantle Steel Group comprises two entities under common ownership and control – Fremantle Steel Fabrication and Park Engineers. Both entities are based in Jandakot WA, and operate under the same Managing Director. Our workforce is directly employed under Australian workplace laws and standards. Our supply chain includes: • Australian suppliers of steel, metal products, and raw materials • Providers of industrial equipment, consumables, and workshop tools • Transport and logistics contractors • Suppliers of PPE, uniforms, and general workshop goods Some raw materials and manufactured components may originate from overseas, including regions where labour protections vary.

3. Risks of Modern Slavery Practices

While our direct operations are low-risk due to Australian labour laws and direct employment of our workforce, we acknowledge that modern slavery risks may arise in our supply chain, particularly:

• Overseas extraction and processing of steel and metal inputs, where labour standards may differ from Australian requirements

• Manufacturing of imported components or consumables in high-risk jurisdictions • Production of PPE, uniforms, and textiles, which are commonly associated with elevated modern slavery risk globally

• Use of subcontracted labour in logistics or specialised trades, where labour hire practices may be less transparent

We assess the severity and likelihood of these risks as low to medium, given the predominantly Australian nature of our first-tier supply chain, but we remain vigilant about risks further upstream.

4. Actions Taken to Assess and Address Risks

We have conducted a modern slavery risk assessment across both entities covering our operations and first-tier supply chains. We prefer suppliers with transparent sourcing practices, provide awareness to staff involved in procurement, and include modern slavery risk in our supplier onboarding process. If modern slavery is identified in our operations or supply chain, we will cease or suspend the relevant relationship, require a remediation plan, report to authorities where required by law, and update our procurement practices to prevent recurrence. No instances have been identified to date.

5. Assessing the Effectiveness of Our Actions

We assess the effectiveness of our approach through an annual review of this statement by the Chief Executive Officer, covering both entities. This review considers whether our risk assessment remains current, whether supplier due diligence has been carried out, and whether any concerns have been raised or reported. We are committed to improving our processes over time.

6. Consultation Process

This statement reflects the combined input of management across both entities and in consultation with staff responsible for procurement and supplier management. Input was sought from those with direct knowledge of our supply chain and operations to ensure the risks and actions described are accurate and representative.

7. Other Relevant Information

We are committed to improving our processes over time, including strengthening supplier engagement, enhancing staff awareness, and progressively extending our due diligence to deeper tiers of our supply chain.
